FAQs
How early do we need to book our dates with you?
As soon as your dates have been finalised! We take up a very limited number of weddings in a year, as this allows us to handcraft and personalise each wedding. This means we are usually booked out upto a year in advance.
Where are you based and would you be willing to travel to my wedding destination?
We are based in Mumbai and willing to travel anywhere in the world for your wedding. At the cost of sounding schmaltzy, we are willing to scale mountains and sail across oceans to be able to tell your story, figuratively speaking, of course!
Ours is an intimate affair, will you still be willing to shoot it ?
If we’re being honest, intimate affairs are some of our favourite weddings to shoot. The families are relaxed and there are a plethora of raw and candid moments that we get to document. These little moments are sometimes lost in the grandeur and splendour of a big fat royal wedding. We’re passionate about our craft and we yearn to tell stories that are full of heart - that is all it takes, one small spark, to inspire us!
How do you approach a wedding film?
We approach wedding films with a modern documentary style - which means nothing is scripted. We don’t come in with preset notions or formulas, because every wedding is unique. What is going to unfold at your wedding a mystery, and we’d like it to take its natural course, rather than direct it into something that it wasn’t originally meant to be. We have a strong background in advertising and fashion, so we blend that skill set while shooting, and then the final story telling happens on the edit table with all the hours of content we have managed to shoot across all your events. This ensures that every film is an honest to life representation of your individual unique story and no two films ever look the same.
Is it ok if we hire additional photographers/videographers?
No, it is not. Imagine this - there is a beautiful, once in a lifetime moment unfolding, the groom is applying sindoor to the bride, the photographers are locked in with some stunning frames, and then another photographers head pops up in the background to ruin what could have been a perfect image worth framing in your living room! Our team has been working together for years and the chemistry each one has is almost astonishing! We make sure we don’t get in each other’s way, everyone is in the right spot at the right time and that is crucial to making sure your wedding moments are captured perfectly.
What are your payment terms ?
We take 50% of the total booking amount at the time of booking to lock our dates and resources for you. The remaining balance is due on the last day of your wedding events.
When can we expect the final deliverables ?
Editing is a very time-consuming, laborious yet creative task. Since we personalise all our edits to your preference, both images and films, we will need you to also be involved in the edit process. This involves song choices, colour grading preferences etc. While this entire process does take time, our endeavour is to get you the final files as soon as possible post the wedding. The final edited images usually take about 3-5 months. The final edited videos usually take about 4-6 months based on our work schedule.
Do you provide wedding albums/photo-books?
We strongly urge all our couples to get printed albums made. As photographers, we believe the true essence and vibe of an image, only really comes to life when you see it in print. We live in a digital age and are constantly surrounded by screens, all of which have different colour panels in them and so your photos stop looking true to how they were originally intended to look. You will often hear us say - “Digital may deceive, but a print never lies!”.
